Two men injured in separate shootings in Southwest and West Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened in the city Monday evening.

Police say the first reported shooting happened around 6:35 p.m. when officers were called to the 200 block of South Woodington Road. Officers at the scene located a 39-year-old man who had gunshot wounds to his body.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

About an hour later, officers were called to a local hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Officials say police found a 35-year-old man being treated for gunshot wounds to his body.

Investigators say the man was shot in the 300 block of North Monroe Street.

Detectives from the Southwest and West Districts are investigating these incidents.
