It was primarily a "sit down" restaurant, but they had to change their ways due to the pandemic so their carry-out/curbside pick-up sales have increased. At the start of the pandemic, they had to decrease their menu and change their kitchen set up. They have since gradually brought back the majority of items on their menu. The community shops gathered together for shop small and have a promotional gift basket for shoppers who come into each place of business and they draw a name for the basket.   • Mason Mayes She quit her job working for Hopkins School of nursing last year to follow her dream and open a women's fashion boutique in Baltimore. Months and months of research and set up lead to her opening MASON MAYES in Lake Falls village this year. She was supposed to open in May 2020 but due to COVID everything got put on hold, she even considered throwing in the towel after putting her life savings and 8 months of effort into the business.   • Mason Mayes_2.jpg However, she stayed with it and offered her website/e-commerce to the public in early summer with the little clothes that she was able to get shipped to her and had good success. She was able to get construction completed and opened her brick-and-mortar store in August. Carrie has a background in fashion when she lived in DC. She really believes in making women feeling good about themselves - this is the vibe from her store and the public has really picked up on that and has been responding to it.

  • Timonium Barber Shop Mike has owned Timonium Barber Shop for 20 years. Only two employees: Mike and Beth-both very well known around the area. Months and months of research and set up lead to her opening MASON MAYES in Lake Falls village this year. She was supposed to open in May 2020 but due to COVID everything got put on hold, she even considered throwing in the towel after putting her life savings and 8 months of effort into the business.     However, she stayed with it and offered her website/e-commerce to the public in early summer with the little clothes that she was able to get shipped to her and had good success. She was able to get construction completed and opened her brick-and-mortar store in August. Carrie has a background in fashion when she lived in DC. She really believes in making women feeling good about themselves - this is the vibe from her store and the public has really picked up on that and has been responding to it.
