For the second time this season Melo Trimble has been named Big Ten Conference player of the week.

Maryland's junior guard scored a career-high 32 points in a 74-64 win at Northwestern on Tuesday.  He had 27 points in Sunday's 71-60 loss at Wisconsin.

Trimble passed Lonny Baxter on Maryland's all-time 20-point games list. Trimble sits in 10th place with 30.

Trimble has earned Big Ten player of the week honors four times in his career.
