Fresh off a Super Bowl victory one of Baltimore's favorite athletes is gearing up for his annual event to help the city's youth.

Torrey Smith stopped by the ABC2 studios on Tuesday to chat about his upcoming celebrity charity basketball game.  The 7th annual game will happen on March 17 at Royal Farms Arena.

It benefits The Torrey Smith Family Fund, which is a non-profit which provides kids with mentoring and after-school programs in Baltimore and other cities across the country. Smith will also hand out college scholarships at halftime of the game.

Several current and former Ravens and other NFL players are scheduled to play in the game.

"We have a great time. You get to see some of your players who are really good (at basketball) and some of your players who are really bad," said the former Raven and current Philadelphia Eagle. "But most importantly we're all there for a great cause. It's the biggest fundraiser for our charity. If you can't make it, obviously a lot of people can't due to timing, you have the opportunity to donate a ticket so a kid from the city can come."

Smith said last year there were almost 2,000 tickets donated to kids around Baltimore.  Tickets are $15.

You can find more information on how to buy tickets at www.torreysmith.org.
