The Loyola men's lacrosse team capitalized on their chances Wednesday night en route to beating rival Towson 11-7. The Greyhounds scored on 11 of 29 shots.
Loyola goalie Jacob Stover matched his career-high with 16 saves. The Hounds' Jordan Germershausen also tied a career-high with four goals.
Towson's Ryan Drenner, Mike Lynch and Tyler Konen each had two goals.
Loyola improves to 2-2. The Tigers drop to 2-1.
The game was a rematch of the 2016 NCAA Tournament quarterfinal game, which Loyola also won to advance to the national semifinal.
