Olympian Katie Ledecky has returned to Maryland after her success in Rio.
Even with her four gold medals, she didn't have a tough time getting through security at Dulles International Airport Wednesday.
A mob of fans greeted her, and the Bethesda native took a moment to talk about all that she accomplished all the goals she set for Rio.
"I hope to make as much as an impact as i can. We all had our goals in the pool, but we also had the goal to inspire other young kids and hopefully we did that," she said.
Besides the gold, Ledecky smashed her own world record in the 400-meter freestyle and broke the Olympic record in the 800-meter freestyle.
