BALTIMORE — The winner of the Black Eyed Susan Race was covered in a floral blanket created by florists at the Giant Food on York Road.
The company was selected to design and create the blankets for Friday's race and the Preakness winner.
The blankets incorporate between four and 6,000 flowers each. Florists worked on the blanket for the winner of Saturday's big race.
This is the 23rd year giant has been chosen to create the blankets.
