We're counting down to the 97th annual Turkey Bowl presented by Brooks Financial Group. Calvert Hall head coach Donald Davis is in his 10th year leading the Cardinals.
Davis, a member of Calvert Hall's 1996 graduating class, has been the head coach since 2007. After graduation, Davis played football at Johns Hopkins.
In 2001, he began coaching the Cardinal Gibbons JV team. Just two seasons later, he was promoted to varsity head coach.
Davis received the 2006 Baltimore Touchdown Club Coach of the Year award. Then in 2010, he was named the Maryland State Coaches Association State Coach of the Year.
Calvert Hall is looking to win their third consecutive Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving Day. Kick off is at 10 a.m. at M&T Bank Stadium.
