Former Ravens running back Ray Rice still believes he can play football, even if his last NFL game was during the 2013 season.
Speaking before Torrey Smith's charity basketball game Sunday, Rice said the following to ABC2 Sports Reporter Shawn Stepner:
"I still can play football. I'm never going to give up. You ain't never going to hear me say I gave up. The reason why I'm not playing football, you do the dots. It ain't because I'm a bad football player and that's just keeping it real. But, I'm never giving up, never giving in. I've got two beautiful kids, beautiful wife and family that I'm going to continue to take care of."
Former Ravens safety Ed Reed was next to Rice during the interview.
Rice has been out of the NFL since 2014 after he punched his fiancee (now his wife), knocking her unconscious, and dragged her out of a casino elevator in Atlantic City.
