The overwhelming feeling following Sunday’s loss in Dallas: no moral victories. Even after their first defeat in a month, the Ravens are still confident.  24 hours later, after pouring over the game film, John Harbaugh says he still likes the overall vibe of his team.

“We believe in ourselves. We believe in one another.  And we know that everything is right in front of us,” said the Ravens head coach.

With a 5-5 record the Ravens are tied with the Steelers atop the AFC North division, and own the tiebreaker over Pittsburgh at the moment.  Entering the final six games of the regular season Baltimore still controls its own playoff destiny.

“Basically, we won the Pittsburgh game to tie the division at 4-4. Since then we’ve each beat Cleveland and lost to Dallas,” said Harbaugh.  “So we’re even and there’s six games left. The same thing goes for Cincinnati who’s right behind both of us.”

Out of the final six games, three are against division foes.  Baltimore plays two against the Bengals.  The other contest is in Pittsburgh. Those constitute the real test as the season plays out.

“We’re all going to play each other over the course of the next six games. It’s going to come down to that. It’s probably what we knew going into the season, that it was going to come down to division games. And that’s what it’s going to come down to,” said Harbaugh.

The Ravens will keep their normal practice schedule during this Thanksgiving holiday week before hosting Cincy on Sunday.
