Edmondson-Westside fell in the Maryland 1A boys high school basketball state championship game Saturday, 65-52 to Fairmont Heights.
Edmondson's Teon Gardner led all scorers with 18 points.
Fairmont Heights' Yearlando Reed led the Hornets with 17 points.
The Red Storm finish their season 16-6.
Fairmont Heights ends their championship season 17-8.
The game was played at XFINITY Center.
