In the spirit of competition and gambling, a friendly wager has been placed between Caesars Palace Las Vegas and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore as the Las Vegas Knights and Washington Capitals vie for the Stanley Cup.
With the series tied 1-1, Erin Chamberlain, Caesars Regional President and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore General Manager, and Sean McBurney, Caesars Palace Las Vegas General Manager, have put their pride on the line, with each offering to take a picture in the other city's team jersey if that team wins.
“I came to Baltimore from Las Vegas, and all I keep hearing from my friends and colleagues back home is what an incredible ride it has been for the Golden Knights this year,” Chamberlain said. “The Capitals’ journey to the finals has been just as amazing, having overcome several detractors to get to where they are now. I have no doubt this is finally our year to hoist the cup.”
