The Patterson and Dundalk High School boys basketball teams were among those advancing in the Maryland State Playoff Tournament on Thursday.
Patterson defeated Dunbar 64-58 in the 2A North Section I final.
Dundalk survived Edgewood 61-57 in the 3A North Section II final.
The Owls advance to face Poly in Saturday's 3A North Region final. Poly cruised past Woodlawn 72-45.
