The Baltimore Blast lost Game One of the Major Arena Soccer League Championship Series on Friday night. Soles de Sonora topped Baltimore 4-2.
Sonora's Enrique Canez scored the only goal of the first half.
Baltimore's Andrew Hoxie tied the game 31 seconds into the third quarter with a power play goal.
After Sonora scored the next three goals, Adriano Dos Santos notched the only goal of the fourth quarter.
Game Two is on Sunday night, at 9:05 p.m. EST, in Hermosillo, Mexico. If Sonora wins, they clinch the Ron Newman Cup as MASL champions. If the Blast wins, they force a winner-take-title mini-game immediately following Game Two.
