Blast headed to MASL Championship

The Baltimore Blast defeated the Milwaukee Wave 2-1 in a mini game Tuesday night to punch their ticket to the MASL Championship series. 

After losing game two of the Eastern Conference Finals 8-4, the Blast rebounded in the mini game. 

The Wave took control of the game early, scoring three goals in the first quarter. 

In the mini game, Andrew Hoxie recorded his fourth goal of the postseason assisted by Juan Pereira to give the Blast the early lead. Marcio Leite socred a late goal for the Wave, tying the game. Blast veteran Tony Donatelli recorded the game winning goal assisted by Vini Dantas. 

The Blast defense, lead by Pat Healy shut the door in the final minute as the Blast clinched a spot in the MASL Championship series for the second consecutive season.

The Blast awaits the winner of the Soles de Sonora vs. San Diego Sockers. They'll face the winner in the championship series.
