MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Officials say they have recovered the body of the missing Towson University student who was last seen swimming in the Potomac River Sunday evening.
Nazir Bell, 20, was separated from a group in the area of Bill Goat Trail A and Sandy Landing.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue officials previously said Bell was presumed to have drowned.
Multiple agencies assisted with recovery efforts.
Rescue crews used sonar and thermal imaging to help with the search.
