BALTIMORE, Md — Governor Larry Hogan says Maryland continues to lead in keeping the air clean and healthy. However, Washington D.C. has failed in that effort.
He spoke at the climate leadership conference in Baltimore.
"For four years now, Maryland has been leading the charge when it comes to real, bipartisan, common sense solutions to promote clean energy investment and green jobs to make our environment cleaner and healthier," said Hogan. "Washington, in my opinion, has continued to fail on these issues."
The Governor is also pushing to expand the Clean Cars Act, which increases funding for zero emission vehicles.
