Here's what's happening at the B&O Railroad Museum on its first weekend of reopening

BALTIMORE — The B&O Railroad Museum had its long awaited reopening on Thursday.

Here is a list of exhibits and rides that are now open with capacity restrictions.

  • Free rides inside the cab of the Sweet Toot locomotive, donated by Domino Sugar,
  • Mile One Express Train rides on the First Mile of Commercial Railroad,
  • Educational Tours and Behind-The-Scene Archival Display,
  • Live Music Saturday and Sunday,
  • Fire Engine Display with Fire Museum of Maryland
  • Food, adult and kid-friendly beverages for purchase from Southwest Baltimore’s Backyard Restaurant, and more!

Below is the museum's preliminary schedule for its first weekend of reopening. Their new hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 11am to 4 pm.
