Today marks three years since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Twenty children and six adults were killed in Newtown, Conn. The gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, killed his mother before heading to the school. He turned the gun on himself as police closed in.
Newtown students will report to class today. Students plan to hold several moments of silence for the victims and flags will be lowered to half-staff.
