Police identify woman found on Rt. 301

UPDATE

Maryland State Police have identified the deceased woman who was found lying in the roadway on Route 301. 
Police have identified her as 33-year-old Tiffany Storey of Upper Marlboro. 
 
Storey's autopsy results show that her cause of death was caused by multiple injuries, and her death is still a pending investigation. Results also show there were no signs of suspicious injury. 
 
State Police investigators continue the investigation and are asking for anyone with information about this incident to contact the Forestville Barrack at 301-568-8101.
 
 
 

Maryland State Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found on a heavily traveled road in Prince George's County.

Authorities say the body of a fully clothed white woman was found face-down on northbound Route 301 near the exit ramp for Route 4 in Upper Marlboro about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say they found obvious traumatic injuries to the woman's body.

The body was taken to the medical examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
