Ex-offenders to be trained to work on MTA buses

Finding a job after being released from prison is a difficult task, but Maryland is trying to make it a little easier.

Gov. Larry Hogan witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Maryland Transportation Authority and Vehicles for Change Tuesday.

The program offers training to ex-offenders.

With this partnership, interns from Vehicles for Change will now have the same opportunities as other automotive technicians who test and qualify to repair MTA's fleet of buses.
