Maryland's six casinos broke the record for highest-ever monthly total in March.

They earned $141.2 million in total - 44.3 percent higher than in March of 2016.
The record-breaking jump was made possible by the addition of MGM National Harbor, which brought in around $50 million on its own.
MGM National Harbor opened in December, when all six casinos made more than $133 million, breaking the previous revenue record set in May 2016.

The other five casinos' combined total was around 8 percent lower than March of last year.
