Evidence in the Great Mills shooting investigation shows that Austin Rollins, the gunman in the Great Mills Mills High School shooting, shot himself.

According to officials after firing a shot at Jaelynn Willey and Desmond Barnes in Hallway F, Rollins was then confronted by the SRO in Hallway D, moments after that, he fired a shot to his head.

At the same time, the SRO also shot at Rollins, which hit the weapon that he was holding.

Police released 911 calls from students and staff inside the building.

“There was shots in the hallway. I don’t know if it was a gun, but there’s a girl outside my door bleeding on the ground," said a teacher on the phone with police.

Barnes can be heard telling an officer he had been shot at his school.

“My knee hurts so bad," he said.  An officer responded "We’re getting help to you Desmond. You need to stay strong with me buddy."

That same 911 operator stays on the phone until he hears this.

“Hi Desmond, let me put a tourniquet on you alright? The tourniquet stops the bleeding alright?“

Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to contact the FBI.
