The State's Attorney's Office dismissed all charges Tuesday. According to lawyers for Pires, the State's Attorney "had no evidence or underlying facts to support the charges against Mr. Pires."
According to his attorneys, Pires is considering "all avenues moving forward," including filing a complaint against the false statements and filing a civil suit for false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.
