A 19-year-old is recovering from his injuries after a car hit him and then drove away Tuesday night.
According to police, Dwight Nichols was walking on Somerset Ave in the area of University of Maryland Easter Shore Blvd around 10:50 at night.
Police said a black Mazda hit Nichols and then drove away.
Nichols was taken to a local hospital where he was told he had non life-threatening injuries.
