ELLICOTT CITY — Howard County Police and Fire have closed off a portion of Main Street in Ellicott City on Friday afternoon because of a gas leak.
BGE is on-site working on the gas leak, and crews were able to get it quickly under control.

The road was closed between Klein Avenue and Ellicott Mills Drive, a little more than a quarter of a mile.
No injuries were reported.
