WOODSTOCK, Md. — Howard County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a Weis Markets in Woodstock last week.

Police released surveillance video of the incident on Friday, six days after the incident happened in hopes someone would recognize the man.

“Tips are very valuable,” said Seth Hoffman with the Howard County Police Department. “They could help break open an investigation."

The suspect is accused of demanding money from a cashier at the Weis Markets located in the 10800 block of Birmingham Way around 5:00 p.m.. The cashier handed the money over after the man claimed he had a gun. The cashier was not hurt, but the man got away with a few hundred dollars.
