Mabee, who has been missing since July 22, was located in a densely wooded area in Columbia Saturday afternoon. He was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries that were sustained from an accidental fall.
Officers were in the area helping a volunteer search party when, at around 12:30 p.m., a member with a personal drone located Mabee near the intersection of Presbyterian Circle and Route 108. Police immediately made their way to Mabee, who was conscious. He is currently in critical condition.
A preliminary investigation by police has found no indications of foul play in this incident.
