A Howard County man has been convicted in the September 2016 killing of his mother and father in their Laurel home.

After a seven-day trial, on Tuesday a jury found 31-year-old Craig White guilty of the first-degree murders of Glenn and Linda White.

On September 1st police found Glenn White stabbed to death in his bedroom and his wife dead in a basement bedroom at their home on Queens Guard Court. Several hours later Craig White was arrested.

The courts will reconvene Wednesday for the second phase of the trial to determine whether Craig White is criminally responsible for the double homicide.
