SAVAGE, Md. — A Howard County construction project that will improve pedestrian access and safety, in Savage, is scheduled to begin on or around Tuesday, October 1.
At the intersection, which is at Foundry Street and Washington Street, a mini-roundabout will be installed and around 500 feet of pathway will be laid along southbound Foundry Street.
Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-November.
Lane shifts and temporary lane closures are expected. However, signs and flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic as needed during construction hours, which will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
