PASADENA, Md. (WMAR) — From nowhere to play to a great new space.
Last month, we told you that Chance the band needed a new home -- and on Friday night they performed for the first time at their new digs at United Methodist Church in Pasadena.
For over twenty years they had been holding free concerts and potlucks at the same spot in Glen Burnie.
Unfortunately they weren't able to continue at their old spot leaving their future up in the air.
Erma Ellecamp has been going for a long time and is really excited that they found a new home a her long time church.
"These folks are not going to go out to the club or the movies,” Ellecamp said. “They come here for free, they dance, they hear good music, have some snacks. It's just a wonderful opportunity, I am so excited about it I really am."
All are welcome to the weekly potluck---but make sure you bring your dancing shoes.
