JESSUP, Md. — Howard County Police have determined that Friday morning's alleged abduction was incorrect.

Officers were notified at around 6 a.m. that authorities in Virginia were investigating the alleged abduction of an adult female and that the said female might've been in the Jessup area.

Police arrived to the 7600 block of Rappahannock Avenue and found the woman in a truck with the adult male driver.

After investigating, police determined that the initial report of an abduction was incorrect and officers have decided not to file any charges.
