Assateague State Park will reopen Saturday, Sept. 15., the Maryland Department of Natural Resources tweeted Friday.
The park will reopen at 7 a.m., with campgrounds opening at noon.
No swimming will be permitted through the weekend. Beach access may be limited or temporarily closed during high tide cycle.
The department reminds visitors to follow posted signs related to any safety closures.
