"I'm my own person. My mother used to sing an old gospel song, may the work I've done speak for me and that's all I can do. I am so grateful that the people who have worked with me and even those who have followed my work over the years and they know that my work speaks for me," said White. "I didn't seek out that opportunity they sought me out. So I didn't intend to use the prestige of my office in the way that is written there. I'm just glad to release the report and release all the mystery around that."
White will be the Interim Superintendent through the end of the school year.
