UPDATE: Baltimore County Fire says an adult man and a female child are in critical condition following a fire late Tuesday night.
Firefighters responded to Comet Court in Parkville just before 11 p.m. and saw smoke and flames coming from the first floor. They were told two people were still inside.
Crews found the man and child in a bathroom on the second floor.
Firefighters had the fire contained in about 30 minutes. No word yet on a cause.
