HALETHORPE, Md. — A fire was reported on Tuesday morning at Baltimore County's Western Acceptance Facility.
Located on Transway Road in Halethorpe, the facility handles dropped-off trash and recycling for the County.
Fire crews were called there around 9:37am for some trash that had ignited.
Flames were under control within an hour.
One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
According to the County, the facility remains open to the public.
