The historic Star of Bethlehem has a new home and is now officially lit over the city.
Tradepoint Atlantic hosted the annual lighting ceremony and has relocated the star to his new home atop the 110 ft. water tower in Sparrows Point.
Before the big move, the one-and-a-half ton, 28-foot wide Star of Bethlehem Steel graced the top of the 320-foot tall L Blast Furnace at the Bethlehem Steel Mill in Sparrows Point.
The star is now brighter with 196 new LED bulbs.
