The story of Mr. Ernest and his angels

Mary and Joseph found no room at the inn and wound up in a manger. Mr. Ernest has his own Christmas story.  How he ended up in a storage unit.

Last month the assisted living place closed up forcing him out.  He took all of his stuff and put it in a grocery cart and walked three miles to a storage business.  It was 3:00 a.m. when he tripped the alarm while going to the bathroom.  Baltimore County officer Brandon Beccio thought it was a break in but it broke his heart.

Mr. Ernest is paying $26 a month waiting for another place to open. In the meantime, Officer Beccio and Officer Malala Soussi have been feeding him and giving him essential stuff and taking him home for showers.

They have set up a GoFundMe page to get Mr. Ernest back up and living. Mr. Ernest will be 69-years-old three days before Christmas. He plans on seeing doctors at Hopkins on Monday hoping they can restore his vision.  He wants to see the two angels who are helping him.
