Stanley Black and Decker plans to add 400 new jobs.
The company will invest $8.5 million to build new office space at Greenleigh at Crossroads in White Marsh-Middle River.
The expansion will bring the company's total employment in Maryland to approximately 2,700.
The company currently employs 1,600 people ar their Global Tool and Storage division headquarters in Towson.
Stanley Black & Decker’s new building will house positions in electrical and electromechanical engineering, digital and brand marketing, industrial design, finance, and human resources. The average annual salary for the new jobs will be $60,000.

Baltimore County is providing a $200,000 conditional loan to assist the company with project costs. Support of a resolution related to a Maryland State loan will be discussed at a County Council work session February 13, 2018.
