Seven people were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a car hit a school bus on Friday afternoon.

Investigators say a Dodge Stratus was traveling southbound on North Point Boulevard when it hit the driver side of a Baltimore County school bus turning left. There were two people in the Dodge, and one bus assistant as well as 27 Patapsco High School students inside the bus.

Both the people in the Dodge were trapped in their car as a result of the crash. They were sent to an area hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The bus assistant and four students were taken to the hospital also for non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
