Highway maintenance projects in eastern Baltimore County will result in temporary road closures, the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration said Wednesday.
The construction is expected to be completed by mid-fall and costs approximately $1 million.
Crews will patch the roadway of a one-mile stretch of MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) between Hospital Drive and King Avenue in Rosedale, and a one-mile span of MD 702 (Southeast Boulevard) between Old Eastern Avenue and Hyde Park Road in Essex. Crews will run a flag operation to handle traffic in both sites. Crews are permitted to work Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Saturdays between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
