ESSEX, Md. — Baltimore County Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors, after multiple thefts were reported in Essex Sunday.

Between 4:15 and 6:22 a.m., police say a total of eight parked cars were broken into on three different streets.

Several suspects reportedly walked through the unit block of Urbanwood Court, the 800 block of Dorsey Avenue, and the 400 block of Virginia Avenue, looking for unlocked cars on the street and in driveways.

Police recommend not keeping anything of value in the car or openly visible.

Anyone who may have information or potential security camera footage should call the Essex Precinct at 410-887-0220 or dial 911. Callers can remain anonymous.
