In addition to flooded roads and homes, heavy rain also led to a swift water rescue near Hereford on Tuesday.
People got stuck in trees that had fallen down and were floating in the Gunpowder River.
Members of the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company searched for them and were eventually able to rescue them. Crews didn't know exactly where the people were and had to enter the river at different points to find them.
A rescue team swimmer was able to get everyone out of the water safely. The fire department released pictures of the dramatic rescue and thanked those involved for a job well done.
