Fire officials say the first blaze broke out around 4:45 p.m. on the first floor of an apartment complex in the 200 block of Garden Road. Flames extended to the second floor, trapping three people who were later rescued by fire personnel.
In total, five people were treated by EMS on scene. One person however was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It's unclear what started the fire and how much damage it caused.
Less than an hour following the apartment fire, crews were called to the 1400 block of Armacost Road in Parkton for a house fire. Officials say no one was injured and all occupants were accounted for.
Then almost two hours later, flames were reported out of a home in the 7900 block of Cantwell Road in Windsor Mill.
A second alarm was originally requested but later canceled. No injuries were reported. There was no word on the extent of the damage.
