Nationwide Auto Group in Timonium presented a check to the American Red Cross for disaster relief efforts Wednesday.
For the last two months, the American Red Cross has been working to provide relief for people affected by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, as well as the record-breaking wildfires in California.
To help with recovery efforts, the Nationwide Auto Group donated $100 for every new Nissan, Infiniti, Kia, or pre-owned car sold from September 13 to October 2.
The group presented a check of more than $18,000 to the red cross.
"This money is going to help in so many ways as a recover efforts for Harvey, Irma, and Maria,” said regional CEO for the American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake Region Scott Salemme.
The dealership also received a match from manufacturers of up to $20,000 per manufacturer.
