A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a crash involving two other vehicles Wednesday night. Baltimore County Police say officers were called to the scene just after 11:30 p.m. to the area of Philadelphia Rd and Kenwood Rd. Investigators believe that a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu was driving west on Philadelphia Rd when it was struck from behind by a 2002 Harley Davidson. The motorcyclist was thrown off the bike and then struck by a gray sedan; that driver did not stop but continued driving west.
The driver of the motorcycle was rushed to an area hospital but died from his injuries around 12:15 a.m. He has been identified as 53-year-old Michael James Genco of the 1200 block of Berk Ave.
Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information about the gray sedan is urged to call police at 410-307-2020.
