The Baltimore County Police is continuing to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash that happened late Wednesday night.

At about 7:15 p.m., on Reisterstown Road, near Cedarmere Road, a motorcyclist, who’s been identified as 30-year-old Joseph Lee Ray, of the 200 block of Maryland Avenue in Pasadena, was going westbound on Reisterstown Road on a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle when it crested a hill and hit a 2016 Scion. The Scion was crossing the westbound lane of traffic as it made a left turn into the Len Stoler car dealership.

Ray was ejected from the motorcycle and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police found out that the motorcycle was reported stolen from the 3000 block of Hunting Ridge Drive in Owings Mills on August 6.

This case remains open and police is urging anyone with information regarding the crash to contact the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce (RATT) at (410) 307-2020.
