A local hero was honored Sunday as a Baltimore County bridge was dedicated in his name.
Nicholas Ziolkowski, a Boys Latin graduate was a Corporal in the United State Marine Corps. He was killed in 2004 while serving his country in Iraq.
The bridge paying tribute, is located on Charles Street over I-695 near Towson, where Ziolkowski is from.
Now as they pass by, Ziolkowski's parents will have comfort in knowing their sons sacrifice will never be forgotten.
