WOODLAWN, Md. — A juvenile was transported to an area hospital Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in Woodlawn.
Officers with the Woodlawn Precinct responded to the intersection of Essex Road and Yataruba Road at 8:30 p.m. following reports of a pedestrian crash.
Police did not provide the victim's age but said the juvenile sustained serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene, according to police.
Crash Team investigators have taken over the investigation, which remains active.
