Traffic was detoured from Joppa Road between Bel Air and Seven Courts all day Wednesday due to a 16-inch water main break.
The Department of Public Works was hard at work into the night Wednesday to repair the break.
Crews have not given an exact timeline for repairs, but said that the repairs should be complete and the road ready for traffic Thursday morning.
**Editor's Note: DPW originally reported that the water main was a 12-inch break. Baltimore County Government gave updated information Wednesday evening, citing a 16-inch water main break.
